Vincent C. Fayad, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Born 150 years too late, he was meant to be on the Chisolm Trail.  Buying a ranch, getting cattle, learning to ride quarter horses and cutting cattle is a real challenge for someone of his advanced age.  A graduate of the University of Michigan in Environmental Studies.  Spent twelve years in Africa with the Maasai.  Nomadic people in which their whole life evolves around their cattle.  The Maasai affectionately labeled Vince a Ndarobo.  Translated, this means a man who owns no cows.  A very derogatory term.  I am no longer an Ndarobo!  For more information on the Maasai people refer to the following link:  http://www.maasai-association.org

Christine C. Fayad, Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors.  Chris is the artist in the family and an environmentalist.  She is a key player in developing an organic ranch plan and marketing our cattle for local families and restaurants.  Getting organic hay, corn, and grain is not as simple as it sounds.  She came back from the ranch the other day and said she had painted the cattle.  I asked, "what color did you paint them?"  Shows you how much I know about art.  Chris has her own business as an artist (beautiful watercolors), did her undergraduate work at University of California, Santa Cruz, and graduate work at the University of Michigan in remote sensing.

Mike Harrison, Secretary & Game Manager and a member of the Board of Directors.  Mike has never worked so hard in his life.  It has been a joy having someone like Mike around to keep me company and share ideas.  He helps me with all the chores around the ranch and ranch work is never done.  Mike claims I am his fitness program, pulling up old fence posts and clearing paths in the forest and delineating our boundary.  Mike and I filled up two and a half dumpsters full of junk to get the place ready for the cattle.  Mike is retired from Kodak as a Chemical Engineer.

Sue Harrison, Technical Director and a member of the Board of Directors.  Sue is a Master Gardener and a Certified Public Accountant.  Her skills and advice are invaluable.  She has been instrumental in conducting soil samples on all our pastures and developing a plan to balance the soil to meet our grazing plans.  I have learned much from Sue.  I now realize that raising cattle begins with the soil.  You need good soil to grow grass and good quality grass is the key to keeping healthy cattle.  A proper grazing plan is necessary to ensure that grass growth is maximized.  Sue is retired and has to put up with Mike on a daily basis.

Tammy Robinson, Sales & Marketing Manager and an integral part of our team.  Tammy has an extremely important job in reaching out to our customers so as to meet the mission of our company.  We are truly dedicated to providing contaminate-free beef for our customers.  We also provide 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

Russ Thomas, Deputy Game Manager & Ranch Hand, born and bred in Brooklyn, NY.  Learn to ride a horse in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY (now you talk about a real city slicker).  Russ is a retired Mechanical Engineer from Kodak.  In Russ' own words, he has a, "broad back and weak mind."  I am not sure how broad his back is or how weak his mind is, but, he sure is fun to have around and is very helpful with chores around the ranch.  Russ is also Deputy Game Manager and has to report to Mike Harrison, when the two of them get together anything can happen.

Lanner Fayad, Ranch Hand, born in Africa and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with honors in Mechanical Engineering.  Has played Ice Hockey since he was eight years old.  Played hockey for Shattuck St. Mary's High School, St. Louis Stings, and RIT.  Every ranch needs a good mechanical engineer and the Fayad Cattle Company is no exception.  Lanner is following in his father's footsteps.  He is Lean Six Sigma certified through the Milwaukee School of Engineering.  Lanner and his girlfriend Kate are now engaged and have purchased a home near Salt Lake City.  He keeps moving closer!

Tercel Fayad, Ranch Hand, also born in Africa and a graduate of Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon.  Has played Ice Hockey since he was four years old.  Played hockey for Soo Hawks and the Thunderbirds in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.  What would an organic beef ranch do without a certified culinary chef?  Tercel has been instrumental in inspecting and reviewing the butchering practices at various local facilities.  Because of his input, we now have an association with an USDA certified business to properly process our beef.  Tercel has returned to where he did his internship as a chef at the Home Ranch in Clark, Colorado.
